Bahrain Fintechs Ready to Scale Globally

Manama, Bahrain – 17 November 2025: HE Khalid Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) led the Kingdom of Bahrain’s delegation at the Singapore Fintech Festival. The delegation comprised of around 60 representatives from the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), and various financial institutions from the Kingdom, including two Bahraini FinTech companies . The BENEFIT Company and Tanami are the first Bahraini companies to participate since the festival’s inception, whereby they showcased their latest technologies and services at this year’s exhibition that was attended by 65,000 participants, showcased 600 exhibitors and hosted 900 speakers from 134 countries.

On the sidelines of the event, the Governor and the CBB delegation held a series of strategic meetings with senior representatives from regulators, technology providers, and potential licensees. These engagements aimed at enhancing cross-border cooperations to advance innovation within the financial sector.

The Bahrain EDB also participated in the festival, where the Bahrain Pavilion brought together representatives from the Kingdom’s financial services sector and key ecosystem partners. The pavilion aimed to strengthen investment ties with Singapore and highlight Bahrain’s position as a regional hub for innovation, technology and sustainable growth.

Both The BENEFIT Company and Tanami showcased their digital solutions to an audience of global investors, regulators, and industry leaders. Their participation aimed to highlight the Kingdom’s growing capabilities in digital solutions and exploring opportunities for international collaboration.

In addition, a number of banks and financial institutions from the Kingdom attended the festival to explore new strategic partnerships and assess innovative technologies offered by solution providers exhibiting at the event.

The meetings and bilateral discussions held during the festival provided opportunities for collaboration and exploring partnerships with prominent global players.  The participation of the Bahrain delegation at the Singapore FinTech Festival reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening its international presence and reinforcing its position as a leading regional hub for fintech and innovation.
