The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) maintains an active International Relations function to
support its engagement with global, regional and international counterparts, standard-setting
bodies and multilateral institutions.
The International Relations function at the CBB is responsible for:
- Representing the Kingdom of Bahrain in regional and international financial forums,
meetings and working groups. - Strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation with central banks, supervisory
authorities, and international financial institutions. - Supporting policy dialogue and regulatory coordination on issues related to financial
stability, supervision, innovation and market development. - Facilitating the exchange of knowledge and best practices to enhance supervisory
capabilities and institutional capacity. - Coordinating international agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) related
to cooperation, information exchange and technical collaboration.
