Manama, Bahrain – 13 December 2018 – A total of four Central Bank of Bahrain staff, Ms. Amina Al Maskati, Senior Analyst at the Islamic Financial Insitutions Supervision Directorate, Ms. Hesa Al Bardooli, Superintendent at the Financial Institutions Supervision Directorate, Mr. Husain Khamis, Analyst at the Wholesale Banking Supervision Directorate, and Mr. Jaber Al Aali, Superintendent at the Capital Markets Supervision Directorate, have successfully passed the third level of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
On this occasion, Mr. Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain congratulated the staff on this achievement and acknowledged their commitment to learning and development in their career.
“The CBB places great emphasis on human capital development and provides its employees with the support needed to develop their skills. We take great pride that many of our employees have attained professional qualifications in accounting, auditing and financial analysis. The CBB is always keen to encourage staff to pursue further professional training and development.”, said the Governor.
The CFA Program is a professional credential offered internationally by the US-based CFA Institute to investment and financial professionals, which holds world-wide reputation for excellence in the investment and financial industry. Candidates who successfully complete the three levels of the program and meet other professional requirements are awarded the CFA charter and become CFA charterholders.
