Following the Success of the First Edition.. CBB Announces the Selected Candidates for the Second Cohort of the “GP15” Graduate Development Program

Manama, Bahrain – 4 October 2026: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced the selection of 15 distinguished Bahraini graduates to join the second cohort of its GP15 Graduate Development Program.

The second cohort of the program attracted strong interest from applicants and received a higher number of applications than the inaugural cohort, underscoring the growing interest in the program and its outcomes.

HE Khalid Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain, welcomed the graduates during the program’s induction day, held in the presence of senior CBB officials on the occasion of their selection to join the program. The session also introduced the graduates to the CBB’s mandate and strategic role, as well as the key priorities of Bahrain’s financial sector.

On the occasion, HE the Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain congratulated the graduates selected to join the second cohort of the GP15 program, which reflects the CBB’s continued commitment to investing in national talent and developing future leaders capable of contributing to the development of Bahrain’s financial services sector and fostering innovation.

HE also expressed his aspiration, as the second cohort joins the program, to provide them with a high-quality learning and development experience that positively contributes to their professional journeys.

The selected graduates are Abdulla Abdulrahman AlBassam, Ali Arif BinRajab, Ali Khalifa AlThawadi, Azzam Farooq AlAwadhi, Faisal Khaled AlKuwari, Fatima Hussain AlShuwaikh, Hasan Mohamed AlAali, Layal Mahmood Radhi, Mariam Ali Bucheeri, Moosa Mohamed Nayem, Naser Mohamed AlSayegh, Omar Samer AlAmeen, Raghad Abdulla AlBinali, Sara Khaled AlRasheed, and Zain Khaled AlHasan.

GP15 is a distinguished graduate development program that combines practical experience, exposure to different areas of work, project-based assignments, workshops, field visits, as well as opportunities to meet and engage with leading industry figures. Applicants to the GP15 Graduate Development Program underwent a comprehensive evaluation process, which included an aptitude test and personal interviews, as part of the CBB’s commitment to selecting the most qualified candidates and preparing them to participate in the program.
