CBB employee obtains key international membership

Manama, Bahrain – 14th October 2019 – The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) extends its congratulations to Noora Hassan Abdulghani, Superintendent in the Inspection Directorate at the CBB, on her appointment as a member of the Global Future Councils (GFCs).

On this occasion Ms. Abdulghani commented: “I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency Mr. Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain, for nominating me for this role, and for his confidence and support to represent the CBB and the Kingdom of Bahrain in such a prestigious international platform. This membership will reflect positively on my performance in the CBB Inspection Directorate, which specializes in ensuring best practices in the banking and financial sector. GFCs tackle key global challenges and transform them into future opportunities.”

The Global Future Councils (GFCs) is the world’s largest expert-level and foremost interdisciplinary knowledge network dedicated to promoting innovative thinking to shape a sustainable and inclusive future for all. It is an invitation-only community organized by the UAE Government in partnership with the World Economic Forum (WEF) where two co-chairs lead each of the 38 councils comprised of 20-25 leading experts from academia, government, international organizations, business, and civil society.
